		<description>When we saw the amortization chart for our mortgage, we were shocked by the amount of interest we&#039;d be paying on the loan! That&#039;s why after our credit card debt, we&#039;re going to try to pay as much toward the principal as we can. Right now, we&#039;re throwing an extra $25 a month toward the principal, but even that much will shave a year off our mortgage and save us $12,000 in interest. So imagine if we up that extra amount....
