		<description>It sounds like you might be interested in Historical Preservation which is more of a restoration than being an architect.  Not only will you learn more about the purpose behind the functionality of the home built, you will also really step through time.  I used to live in Savannah where it is a major at my college and there&#039;s tons of old homes there that have been preserved.  Just rambling.
