Older homes might be falling apart due to age, but these new houses have paper thin walls and bad construction quality in general. Everything is just so... cheap in the new houses. It's the way it is now, unfortunately, with all these communities popping up. I love the character our house has, and I know it was well built! I have a friend that had a builder build their house about 5 years ago and it is so worn down already! You can definitely see wear in the carpet, and the trim is damaged in certain spots.
