This is me.

I’m really quite boring. I like to bike, I use reusable canvas bags, I compost. However, to add a little more depth, my husband and I are in our late 30′s, he owns his own graphic and web design business, and we are saving like crazy so that we can purchase a house by next year.

I am keeping my blog anonymous for the time being, though anyone who actually knows me would be able to ID my mug! However, I haven’t told any family or friends (except my husband) about my blog. So, unless they accidentally make their way to this site, there is a very slim chance of them reading any of my posts. Keeping my blog a secret from family and friends allows me to write some very personal information without being scrutinized about what I post, or my personal finances.

On a side note, I am not a financial analyst or financial expert. I am just one person sharing my journey to achieving financial freedom (and hopefully acquiring a house in the near future!) However, I’m not a complete dunce. I have a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.

I finally updated my photo. Here it is...Little House 2010!

My blog is a work in progress, so you will most likely see changes every now and then. For instance, I really need to update my photo! (The black and white one!) I hate to admit this, but it’s over 10 years old. Wow, how time flys and wrinkles multiply. Update: I finally updated my photo to the color one on the right. I still love my old black and white one, but I felt like I was not being honest since it’s so old!

Some comments about Guest Posts: I do accept guest posts, however they need to be original in content. I also prefer content that is useful to my readers, which means the article or post would be beneficial and would help my readers make responsible choices. Once the guest post has been submitted and published on Little House in the Valley, all content belongs to Little House in the Valley.

Guest Posts by Little House: I like submitting guest posts to other sites. However, I do work full time and am not always able to commit to writing articles free of charge. Money motivates me, so if you offer some kind of incentive, I might be more able to set aside some time to write an article!
