“Maxed Out” is exactly how I’ve been feeling – not financially really, but time wise. Maybe it’s because I over-commit myself, or perhaps it’s that I can’t say “no”, or just that I really need a vacation. I’ve been counting down the days until my summer position is finished which is unusual for me. Normally, I love what I do and don’t want it to end. But this summer, I have too much on my plate – too many commitments and not enough “down” time. I think my traveling also added to the overall feeling of “too much.”
I keep thinking that by this time next week, I’ll be able to sleep in, not have to drive 70-miles a day, and feel less stressed out. I’ll be able to enjoy the last 2 1/2 weeks of summer vacation (this year’s summer has been shortened by about 3 weeks which isn’t helping) and feel more rested. The furrow indentations in my forehead will soften and my overall appearance will look more refreshed. Basically, I’ll look and feel less haggard.
Man, I can’t wait until next week!

How do you handle too much responsibility, work, or stuff to do?
