Paul over at the Frugal Toad is giving away a Kindle Fire to celebrate his 2-year blog anniversary. It’s a great gift idea – I have to say that I’m hooked on reading ebooks on a Kindle (I personally don’t have one, but I use my phone and a Kindle plug-in which does the trick for now). Okay, and now for some Sunday confessions of hits and misses for the week:
- Hit – Our cat, Sam, has had some health issues recently (which included very expensive vet bills. Ugh!) But is on the road to recovery and doing great for a 15-year old cat.
- Miss – Though Sam is recovering great, his new food is incredibly costly. Looking for some coupons for a canned food called Instinct. If anyone knows how to get this stuff for less than two-bucks a can, please let me know!
- Hit – Quality family time last weekend plus a nice evening with friends at our place this week.
- Miss – I’ve been horrible at exercising and riding my bike these past two weeks. New plan starting tomorrow. 😉
- Hit – New projects on the horizon.
- Miss – Vet expenses have set me back on debt repayment. Will get back on track soon!
