Tomorrow’s the last day for Southwest Airlines Click ‘n Save Deals; low fare trips to tons of cities. There are some restrictions applied to these tickets such as they must be purchased 14-days ahead of time and there’s no travel Friday’s or Sunday’s. Travel must be completed by December 14th and there are some blackout dates (like Labor Day and Thanksgiving). But, if you have a trip you’d like to take late August through early December and your dates are flexible, this just might be for you. Here are some sample prices:
- Boston to Philadelphia: $49 each way
- Burbank to Las Vegas: $49 each way
- Burbank to Phoenix: $49 each way
- Denver to Las Vegas: $59 each way
- Los Angeles to San Francisco: $49 each way
- Seattle to Boise: $69 each way
Most of these prices are vice versa as well meaning San Francisco to Los Angeles is also $49 each way. If I could free up my calendar this month, I’d be into taking up one of these trips, especially to San Fran! Too bad my calendar is packed until mid-December. Hopefully Southwest will be offering this special again early next year.

With a two month old and a two year old, getting on a plane is not in our immediate future (much to the delight of other passengers, I’m sure). I have heard that airline rates do seem to be dropping slightly which has to be good news overall.
