On the second day of savings my true love gave to me….
Two fluffly gloves,
and a gift card from JC Penney’s….
I like wearing gloves in winter. They’re a necessity even where I live; sunny California. The brisk winter weather can be fended off by wearing gloves and scarves. As long as my extremities are warm, I’m warm. I truly appreciate receiving gloves and scarves as holiday gifts. It’s the perfect timing to receive such a gift and I can never have too many pairs, because, let’s face it, gloves can get dingy and dirty quickly.
Oh how I wear them. Let me count the ways….
- I wear them riding my bike keeping my hands from freezing to my handle bars.
- I wear them to ward off the winter wind turning my hands into cracked paper. (That’s a lovely image)
- I wear them to keep my hands from freezer burn on cold door handles.
As much as I love receiving these inexpensive gifts around the holidays, I often forget to give them. I’ll make a mental note for the future. ๐
What warm items do you appreciate as gifts during the winter season?

Are they leather gloves? they’re the only kind I like
@Jon – Stocking stuffers are just fun. I think that’s why we love them. ๐ Sometimes it’s the little gifts that are the best.
