Infographics say so much in so few words. Below is an infographic on the history of real estate; from Alexander the Great’s time period (BC) to present day. There might be a subconscious tendency to believe we deserve land (or a home) based on previous conqueror’s actions:

A very nice infographic. At least now we now more about the real estate business.
It seems that our history if filled of events that are directly and indirectly related to real estate.
It is incredible how much has changed. 0.001 per square foot haha that’s crazy! I hope the real estate market gets better though as both of my parents are trying to sell their houses in the next year or two and properties in each of their areas just aren’t moving. -Sydney
@Sydney – I think it’s going to be a few more years before property values increase in most areas. The foreclosures and short sales are still slowing down the market unfortunately.
