Moving day is here, though this past weekend has felt like a moving weekend with packing boxes and hauling them out to the garage for a quick load on Monday. The older I’ve gotten, the more things I’ve accumulated making this move the “biggest” move yet, at least in terms of quantity. Thankfully, I don’t intend to move again for a few more years, and based on this experience, I think I’ll be hiring a moving company next time!
It will be a little quiet around here for a few days, but stay tuned…I’ll be posting an update later in the week on my new place.

When we moved 3 years ago, I swore that we’re hiring moving guys next time. We did it all ourselves with help from one son and a couple of nephews.

@Money Reasons – This move was much more involved than previous moves, mainly because we’ve acquired so much stuff. As of right now, the next move is definitely going to be someone other than myself and my husband!
@Bucksome Boomer – Man, I don’t ever want to relive this move again! My husband tweaked his back something fierce, I just think we’re getting too old for this type of physical labor. 😉
