I’m not much of a shopper; I don’t like going to the mall unless I absolutely have to, I don’t think shopping is a fun activity, nor would I ever say,”Let’s window shop,” for something to do. But I am human which means I still have to buy things such as clothing, replace appliances, and the like.

I’m the first to admit that I’ve gotten off to a rocky and late start with retirement planning. The only thing in my corner, so to speak, is a pension plan that I have automatically contributed to for the past 13 years. However, the more I think about working for another 24 years, the more I think, can I retire before 65?
My trip to New York is right around the corner, so to speak. I nabbed a decent price on a ticket a couple of months ago (and of course, I really don’t want to compare fares at this point!), but realized that traveling in the winter costs more than the summer months.
