Wedding photos are a vital part to the conclusion of a wedding – it helps preserve memories for years to come. However, as most newly married couples and brides know, hiring a photographer isn’t cheap. If you’re lucky enough to have a friend who dabbles in photography or is a professional photographer, you might be in luck. But for most everyone else, skimping on photography is a painful choice.

With 3.99% mortgage rates, now might seem like a great time to buy in most of the country. Actually, according to the Trulia price-to-rent ratio, anything under a ratio of 15 means it’s better to buy. Michigan and Ohio are two states where buying makes much more sense.

The count-down has begun; one week to go before my sister’s wedding. As a guest who’s traveling out of town to attend, I’ve had to prepare and purchase quite a few items which leads me to believe there’s a conspiracy with weddings and the month of June!
