An article on MSN today reminded me of my Newlywed Bliss Box. The MSN article basically summed up the fact that most arguments couples have are about money and focused on the finance hot buttons that drive people to freak out about it.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve attended fewer and fewer weddings which is beneficial to my pocket book. And, I suppose that’s one benefit of aging; since most people I know are already married there are few “wedding” expenses in my future. However, this year my little sister is getting married – a very exciting time, indeed.

Who doesn’t daydream about winning the lotto, inheriting a fortune, or coming into a windfall? Of course, most of us don’t rely on this happen stance to fund our future and we make financial plans accordingly (ie. we save for a rainy day and fund out retirement accounts.)
